How we check prices

Every price on this site comes from a page published by the airport or by the company that runs the service — the parking operator, hotel or transport company. Here is how we collect prices and how the calculator turns them into an estimate for your trip.

Where prices come from

  • Official airport parking: the airport's own parking rates page.
  • Off-airport lots: the operator's own website for that location, including its own online booking pages for a sample quote. Booking marketplaces that sell many operators' lots are not used as a source of prices, and we don't list them as operators.
  • For each number we keep the exact wording from the source page and the date we read it. Every airport page lists its sources at the bottom, and each parking card links to the page its prices came from.

When prices were last checked

How the calculator works

  • It applies the posted rate steps (for example "30 min – 1 hour: $5") up to the lot's daily maximum.
  • Longer stays: each full 24 hours is charged at the daily maximum, and the remaining hours at the short-stay steps, capped at one more daily maximum. If the operator says a day is a calendar day, each calendar date is charged separately instead.
  • If a lot publishes a weekly maximum, every 7 days are capped at it.
  • If an operator does not say how it counts days, we state the assumption next to the price.
  • Times are read as local time at the airport. When the clocks change during your stay, the calculator counts the hours actually parked.
  • The result is an estimate from the posted rates. The amount charged at the exit can differ — for example because of a rule the operator doesn't publish, a special rate or a lot that is full or closed.
  • The calculator runs in your browser; the dates you enter are not sent to us.

What is not included

  • Taxes and fees are not added unless the operator includes them in the posted price. When an operator mentions extra taxes or fees, we show that note next to the lot.
  • Discounts, coupons, memberships and special-event rates are not applied.
  • Lots that only give a price in an online quote are not ranked against posted prices. Where we show a sample quote, it is one search on the operator's site with the dates and the day we ran it. If the quote shows a fee on top of its total, such as a reservation fee, we also give the total with that fee.

Independence

We are not a parking operator or a booking service, and no parking company pays us to be listed or ranked. The site is funded by ads shown by Google AdSense; advertisers have no say in the content.
